    Learn to play a trumpet (or a "big trumpet!") in a week!
    The tuition will be at Penkhull Village Hall located on the left as you go past the church in Penkhull.

    The course runs daily from the 26th—30th August 2019, the cost of £25 is for the whole course.
    In order to get the most from the course students should be present for the whole week. There is no discount for days missed.

    The course runs daily from 1:30pm—3:30pm. There is limited availability for parking around the back of the hall. Children must be dropped off by an adult and they will only be allowed to leave with an adult known to them. Children will be registered from 1:15pm on the Monday. Please complete the registration form and bring it with you on the first day.
    There will be a free joint concert with The Kids band on the Friday at 6:30pm so that the students can show off their newly acquired talents. Tea and Coffee will be available.

    The course is for children aged between 7 and 12 years inclusive. The tuition is limited to 16 places, which will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The course is suitable for complete beginners and current players, However the run activities will depend on the ages and experience of the students on the course. Beginners will be given an instrument and taught the basics of how to play and some musical theory. Experienced players will focus on how to play in an ensemble and learn some new music to extend and challenge their playing. Music, instruments and refreshments are provided.

    The School is run as a joint venture between Penkhull Village Brass and Tutorage Ltd to provide a low cost opportunity for local children to experience learning a musical instrument. It is a not for profit venture where the course costs are used to cover the expenses incurred to run the course. The course is run by a qualified teacher and staffed by volunteers from Penkhull Village Band. All of which play in the band and have a passion to pass on their musical hobbies and experience.
